Travelers Update on the COVID-19.

March 9, 2020: Please see the latest Travel Advisory on the precautionary observation for all persons arriving from countries with widespread and active human to human transmission of COVID-19 within the 14 days of departure.Only travelers who have critical functions in Liberia and who are traveling from countries with 200 or more cases of the COVID-19 should visit Liberia at this time.

Entry and Exit Requirements: All persons entering Liberia are first seen by a health team before going through immigration.

Quarantine Information:

Any person who within 14 days before arriving in Liberia and has resided in a country that has reported 200 or more cases will have to undergo PO with some conditions.

Travelers whose Embassies or Mission has identified an isolated residence that is verified by the National Public Health Institute of Liberia Liberia (NPHIL) Country team, will be taken to these identified places for 14 days for observation. NPHIL will monitor their temperature twice a day.

All other persons will be taken to Star Base or other designated POC for 14 days of PO. As of March 5, 2020, here are the following countries that requires 14 days of Observation: China (80,793 cases), South Korea (7,869 cases), Italy (12,462 cases), Iran (9,000 cases), France (2,281 cases), Germany (2,078 cases), Japan (568 cases), and Spain (2,277 cases).
